I had to get up early to move my car for street cleaning so buck and I just drove down to see Richard with a REAL egg mcmuffin this time.
I found him on the 6th floor working with his physical therapist just at the end of their session. They were practicing getting up from a seated position and sitting down slowly instead of flopping. He needs that thigh strength back, and he was taking a rest. You can see his left foot betraying him here, which isn't always but still an issue.
Buck is so sweet to everyone here that I actually visited the SPCA site today to look at certification classes. I had to potty on the way out and the big guy was sitting there he said HIIIII Buck, asked him if he wanted to hold him while I went to the restroom and Buck sat there with him like a champ. During this video he laid down on his belly and waited for us, and with Richard he most often doesn't take his eyes off him - like locked on his eyes.
I took him a vase of some fresh clippings from the jasmine vine on his deck that smells great.
Worked on a website the entire afternoon, and Im starving so Im outta here to fix that and hopefully get to bed early.
His cough has subsided, said he saw the doctor this morning who found it humorous that he got a flu shot? I think that might have been a mis-communication with the Dr thinking he was having a crazy moment. He got a flu shot at the VA not there...perhaps the Dr didnt know that and I wouldnt be suprised
VA transport set up for Monday. He'll be there with a pretty big group a bit early, so i will try to be as well.
