Not much to report.
VA Neurology dept. has accepted the moved up date of October 3rd, and changed it into a general appointment. Dr. said they may not be able to give him the botox, but they would do everything they could to assist him with any issues, and to just go ahead and come in.
His voice is strong today, he is working hard with his therapists across the board. tomorrow is weigh in day, and I'm anxious to see if there is a difference since he has been eating institutional food for the most part. His vision is coming around to more better days than bad. Left motor is still off target. He is pain free. He still has his sense of humor, and he is always full of helpful, and thoughtful advise regarding my city stay adventures.
Arlene and Lee return from France tomorrow afternoon, and Shari is going to stop by and see him on the way to the airport to pick them up.
Last Friday marked 7 weeks since the initial stroke, so with a perspective 3mo recovery window he is about 2/3rd the way in, and I think his current condition reflects that.
Biggest issues remain, speech, phlem, strength.
Last night I was googling him and ran across something called Fiddlah, Please! Has anyone heard of this?
